I wondered if I want one or not, what do you think about it?
Does what is says on the tin.
Typical ER quality. Have carried it a day or two, actually used the narrower end (this is where the Rescue model differs from others) as screw driver. Worked well, also some simple opening stuff.
So, yes, I do like it

This is my first knife in a long time.
It’s a case medium stockman in s35vn.
I wasn’t sure about the holes instead of nail  nicks as they leave less available blade for sharpning.

But I will be fifty this year so I doubt I will outlive this knife.
My trouble is i never show initiative, but that's only because no one has told me to.

Nice Case chip.  I was not keen on the cutouts and would have loved long pulls.  Love the handles on it and S35 should be a wonderful steel for everyday use.

Thank you gareth and aloha,
I really like it a lot ,and too would have preferred nicks over the holes, but they are growing on me.

As someone who in the past primarily bought cheap pocket knives I decided last week I was going to treat myself to something nice. I literally live about 10 min from Spyderco's HQ so I thought I would take a short walk and go to their retail store. I picked up a Native 5, great blade and very light weight

I had a spyderco waaay back when I was like 16, I liked it but thought it was odd with the clip being backwards compared to all other clip knifes back in the day, now you can change them to whatever on some knives, but I ended up selling mine to a friend, haven’t owned one since, still a good knife!

IIRC, Native was the first Spydie model to break their unique form factor. The Spydie hole was not completely exposed, which made away with the Spydie "hump". I loved the feel of the handle and the overall look of the knife. I have the original with RFN handle and also used to have the full SS version, but I gave it to my brother. Who is not quite the knife guy that I am, so I'm afraid it's rusting away somewhere

I feel the urge to get the newer versions of Delica and Native. I need help.

I like spyderco and own a few, funnily my favourite is my cheapest, the tenacious. as I beat on it and it never fails me. I have decided if it ever gives up the ghost I will start beating on my manix 2 that only gets light use. But I can’t see that happening anytime soon as the tenacious just refuses to die.

Ever had the Tenacious bite you? It is my only liner lock Spydie, and the only one ever to open in my pocket. Ouch.

This copperlock arrived today, happy with it now after some adjustment. I think it’s a shame about the white spot on the handle but I can live with it..
One apple in and the carbon blade is already on the turn. Looking forward to getting plenty of use from it.

After deciding I really wanted a barlow , and accepting I had a snowballs chance in hell of snagging a GEC or even a case for that matter, I decided on a Boker.

And I am glad I did because the fit and finish on this little beauty is faultless. The transition from the copper bolsters to the handles And pins is perfect, and may I add the blade is perfectly Centered.

It’s pictured next to a copper lumentop that has taken a beautiful patina and I am hoping the bolsters on this knife do the same.

Couldn’t be happier with it.

I just got another Moore Maker/Bear&sons.
I have not been able to put them through their paces due to the 100/108 challenge but I like them and the shop I got them from. The fit and finish of the sodbuster jr is really nice, the bone slip joint has more flaws but the action  of both is smooth. I think the next step is saving my pennies for one of the insanely nice Case knives available at the same shop.

Yeah little torx screws. I have yet to disassemble it to look inside. The modder in me is wondering if the blade could be dropped into a SAK.
