It's a RH-38, that I'm sure of.
You'll find them marked 35 to 38. The 35 is the only one I like as a user. I don't have a ww2 issue 35 but I do have a Kabar Mark 1 Navy I really like.
Thanks. That's interesting will have to look into that and find out about them. It's good that you have your father's knife. 😀

So, the mailman dropped by for a visit....  :mail:

My first order from Multitool.org Store arrived!  :ahhh

Can you guess what's inside? ;) :

LM Crater C33TX!:

I've really been wishing to get a C33B, but since it's discontinued, I went for this model:

It's a nice little knife, I like how it looks:

The blade is combo variety (maybe not the optimal choice, but oh well), nice and sharp out of the box:

The rest, pocket clip, flat screwdriver and philips screwdriver (I forgot the carabiner out of the photo  ):

Easy to open and close one handed even with the shovels I have for hands  :ahhh

Thanks to Grant and MTO Store!  :salute: :tu:

I'd have a look at the Mora Basic Allround Pro as well.  Fantastic knife and a total steal.

I have one of those as well, in carbon steel. They're indeed a great knife but quite different to the 510. I find the latter to be more svelte and thus more aesthetically pleasing to me but also, and more impotantly, quite more agile which makes them better all-rounders compared to the Basic Pro that, for me at least, is meant for heavier tasks. Had I to choose between those two  :ahhh I might consider a Basic 511 or 546 instead :D
