I hope you feel better as well Robert.

If you are having trouble with your thumb maybe try something with a assisted opening flipper. You will use your pointer finger instead of your thumb.

Either that or a pretty much new Spyderco Southard flipper for a great price from a handsome gentleman in Texas.

I received as gifts two very nice folders:

Ganzo G712 - great grip, great look, copies the gorgeous Benchmark Bedlam, uses G10 and 440C and a nice axis lock. Only the beltclip is missing, but I hope Thomas can help with that.

Enlan EL01B - despite the tacticool look it's a very capable knife, serrations cut like razors, lockup is great ad grip is godlike. Feels like a far more expensive knife.. too bad about the choppy wave-mod (it does work, but looks really ugly). Will make a nice hard-use folder.

This just arrived today.  It looks like a BAK, breaks fingernails like a BAK ;), but there are no markings on it at all.  It's a quality piece, very well made, and definitely has some age on it, but a bit of a mystery.

I know it's ugly. But it works!

And I prefer its looks to my other "wave-mods", TBH.

Yeah the tip of the blade was dinged a bit. I can take care of that when I sharpen it, it's like a butter knife at the moment.  As to the lack of markings, I did a bunch of research last night and figured it out - it's Italian Navy surplus. A lot of them were not marked at all.  The rivit positions match perfectly with the pics I found.  Guess that makes it an INK - Italian Navy Knife. :D

Nice INK JD  :tu:

Thanks!  Right now I'm cleaning it up some, and then I'll give it a good sharpening.  I'll post some pics later. As a bonus, I created a new acronym! :D

Still trying to find that info. One maker I've seen mentioned is Coricama. Ashley got one of these that was marked, she's going to get me that info. :tu:  It cleaned up nicely and took a nice edge. Pics later. :)

I'm not a slip joint knife guy per se ( love me some SAKs ) but when I saw this knife something said get it.

I cleaned it up by polishing up what I could.  It looked awesome so I then decided why not blacken the blades.

I really like this "trapper" pattern knife.  I really don't need another area of interest to develop

Arthur Wright two bolster lambsfoot in rosewood:

Very similar to the Senator models, but without the filework on the spring and liners.  The blade's a bit rough and needs sharpening but otherwise it's a nice little knife.

Not now I've sharpened it properly, buffed the blade and adjusted the tang so it closes nicely, no. :P

Got the Lionsteel M3 a little over a week ago, and I had to turn around and buy the M5. Now I'm up to four:

The top two are a DPX Gear Heft 4 and Heft 6 which are made by Lionsteel.

I think I like the wood handle on the M3 (middle) better than the G10 of the M5 (bottom). Although the M5's handle is nicely made. Not overly aggressive, but plenty of grip, IMO.

I can't help myself,I'm a sick puppy and my wife continues to remind me of this fact.

I actually have this one and another Stag/Damascus waiting to be cleaned and polished and then I'll take some better pics.
