I picked up a medium Buck Trapper on clearance at a local supermarket chain a few weeks ago. Even for a china knife, I was blown away at the quality, the fit and finish is superb and the blades are SHARP. A true user knife there.
Fan of the Leatherman mini-bit driver and the Vic backspring philips.

Those actually are a surprising added bonus.  I had seen them in the pics, but I didn't realise how much of a benefit they would be.

Benner,

Very nice indeed! That's Buffalo Horn the way I like it.....polished smooth. Gorgeous slippie bud!  :tu:

I'm a fan of long pulls as well, and like SporK I much prefer matchstriker style over anything. Wish more companies did matchstrikers. So how is the fit on that Fightin' Rooster, any gaps in the backspring area or any blade play? It's a Friedrich Olbertz built piece so it should be pretty solid overall.

And now that you have a real slippie, I am sure you have been overcome with an unshakable urge to buy more (well, that's what happened to me anyway!).......so we need to get you into the real good stuff. Schatt & Morgan, Robeson, Great Eastern Cutlery, Queen, Northwoods, Canal Street Cutlery, Bulldog, Weidmannsheil, Case, MooreMaker........that which has made me financially unstable! The Good Stuff!!!!  :D

I think the F&F is great  :tu:, but that is probably by my unknowledgable standards.  No gaps at all and every blade opens as it should without any play.

I do generally get hooked pretty easily  :D, but my love is for OH folders really.  That's the mall ninja in me's fault.  ;)
I'm back!!
