here's my third knife of the day, GEC #73 trapper with amazing looking walnut scales. it is stainless steel rather than the more common 1095 carbonsteel. the finish and everything on this knife is perfect.

I got this A G Russell sodbuster (or 'rancher') today. its in black micarta or rucarta. finish on it is perfect, and the snap on it is also perfect, it opens completely smoothly, and is completely solid in the open position, then as you close it, it is like it is being sucked back into the scales, if that makes sense. Same price as a case sodbuster, very good value for money.

Jmora - Those are just  !  The walnut on that trapper is gorgeous!

Al - I keep getting to the point where I'm about to pull the trigger on one, and back off for some reason.  How do you like it?

Early day yet Tom, but my first impressions are HERE. I carried it at work today and almost forgot I had it. Quite light for such a large blade. Certainly going to be seeing some use from me, though the large size is no very people friendly so I'll need to be careful where I carry it

Yeah, that can be a problem for me as well at work.  I keep a smaller slipjoint in my pocket in case I have to cut anything when customers are around.

Scagel slipjoints (with halfstop). 1095 Carbon steel.
The smallest one on the right is my user(spearpoint blade). Nicest pocket knife allround I have handled. :)

Splitting another two blade scagel in half (with less nice stag)....leaving two single scagels!
(Once a friend from down under made me the blue bone with clippoint, I made him the orange bone with the second blade)

Nieto Manolina  :)

Thanks, there are a couple of shops in town that used to carry Nieto knives (fixed blades mostly though). I'll have a look around, maybe even find something locally :tu:

Thanks mate  :tu: I think the Case Seahorses are a really nice pattern, and that wharncliffe blade is brilliant  ;)

Wicked blade! Excellent pattern, perfect ergonomics, great build! tu:

Mine was made by a forum friend as a gift (with padouk scales and nice filework on the springs).
So I like to keep it a bit pretty. Otherwise I would put it more often in my pocket, it is great for daily carry. Hmm..I should get me another user! Something in blue..   8)

A humble contribution here with two of my smaller knives. A Boker mini lockback in staghorn scales and a brother in rosewood. Nothing special, just (very) small and nice:
