I've had this retail version of the TL-29 for a good while, it's 440A stainless. I found a military issue TL-29 in the mail box today.
I don't know if they all very this much, so I thought I'd show the difference between the two TL-29's. The military issue doesn't have the finish of the retail model, it also has a brass center pin & carbon blade. Unlike the retail version it came with out a box, wrapped in paper and stuck in a small plastic bag.

Notice the springs aren't flush on the military.

This is mine I got last year NOS wrapped in paper as well. I find it really handy. Had to do a little work on the fit of the plastic to the liners and bolsters now it's fine.
