Opinels are locking folders not slipjoints! :facepalm:

Not if you never engage the ring ;) I never lock them so at my house they are slippies :pok: :D Well technically they are friction folders ::)

H&R have made some pretty knives over the years, that's for sure. It's always a pleasure seeing their older ones especially.

A real beaut there :o :like:

Thanks! Here are my 3 gunboats, the red with script logo is my favorite. The walk and talk on that one are smooth as glass.  :cheers:

The Red and Orange are just amazing... some of the prettiest knives I've ever seen.

My collection of OD green GECs is expanding.

I've just seen that they're making a #66 Calf Roper (stockman pattern) in the same handle material too. :drool:

So here's my Steel Warrior peanut with horn scales;

This would be one of my favorites if the presentation side didn't have such shoddy finish. No gaps, no play, nice brass bolsters... But of course they marred the horn around the shield and rivets.

OK, so the Nontron is called the

Navette pocket knife, apparently a collectors piece https://www.coutellerie-nontronnaise.com/en/reissue-of-antique-models/215-navette-pocket-knife.html#/35-model-3_pieces_n38
