VII Salão Paulista de Cutelaria
« on: November 07, 2015, 06:26:57 PM »
The VII SPC took place on a new location, the Casa de Portugal. Despite that it was still too crowded to be a pleasant expirience. Didn't got more pics because of the amount of people/m².

Not many multis, CRKT importer were there but nothing more than the exit tool. Vic stoped sponsoring some time ago. A few folding knives (CRKT, Kershaw...) and an abundance of ridicoulous prices.

The only pics I've got were from GTC and Rick Lala. If I find some more pics from the event I'll post here.

It was difficult to get all in one shot, everybody wanted to play with them. GTC

Sorry for the terrible pics. The lighting didn't help much.

Bummer about the amount of people, and the lack of multi tool representation.

Id never heard of either puff those makers, but the knives are certainly interesting, although I'm not a big fan of skulls on anything...

I have never asked but I get the feeling that the bulk of the people just go there to see stuff. The company that had the larget collection import the products as an importer, everything is legal and all due taxes are paid. A Swiss Card Lite (last year) was R$120, this year I saw no vics but I remember a CRKT Sampa with a price marked down from R$900 to R$400. I believe it is a U$30 knife.
I know for a fact that most non knife people go unprepeared for the prices. Vic had a really big table and I supposed they were not selling enough to cover such a huge expense.

I'm glad I got to present some new makers for you. I'm not a huge skull fan either but the themes of the carvings can be changed according to customer preference. I relly like thi one though:
