I was browsing West Marines website and came across these. I do not keep up on the different scales anymore. Just wondering if these are standard scales?

I'm just going to keep a eye on them and see if they ever go on clearance.

They also have a great price for the Spirit tool if it is in stock.  I'm afraid I haven't had any luck ordering from them though.  I tried to order some SOG and LM tools that were shown on their website as on clearance a couple of months ago, and everything I ordered turned out to be unavailable and was only removed from the website after I had attempted to place my order.

I love the last one with all the different knots shown as reference for the occasional seafarer. Does the other side show more knots?

If only Vic makes a marlinspike model to go with this 91mm scale...

I'd love to snag a Spirit but i'm a little leary of how the website did with all those Leatherman clearance packs.

Just call them. Much easier. I've had nothing but good experiences with their customer service.

Capt. You sure do "browse" a lot of websites....

I don't blame ya though. I'd rather do that then sit in Oceanography right now.

If you sign up for a West Marine account they occasionally send you discounts over email like $10 off 50 or $15 off 75 etc. They have free "Silver" account and paid "Gold" membership you have to pay for.

Don't we all!

I don't blame ya, it's harder to not spend cyber money though.

I'm a little more strict when it comes to cash.
