Some of you guys are nuts, I could never have that many stuff on my keychain. Mine has three things, a fenix aaa light, a vic compact, and a key.

Good idea that.  :tu:  I'll pick one up.

I see someone hasn't found out how much lithium aa/aaa cost outside u.s. yet.  :D

Really? How much???

A key?  I have so many keys that I have had to divide them up into 3 different bunches and when I am at work I have a fourth as well.

They are pricey-ish, but it'll last me ages.
I'm back!!

Is that the Jeep key or the house key?  Or have you got them both keyed alike?  That would be awful convenient!

Kinda reminds me of an old comedy bit- I think it was Stephen Wright.

"When I went home the other night I accidentally put my car key in the door.  The house started right up, so I decided to take it around the block a few times.  A cop pulled me over and when he asked where I lived I said "right here.""

Even if he had a ferro rod on that mess, he'd freeze to death before he could find and use it!

It's not useless- imagine how warm you'll keep yourself, striking it over and over for hours on end trying to start a fire in the rain!  :D

Ha, I wish. It's the house key. My jeep key has a ignition kill remote by previous owner, plus key for the locking gas cap (somebody stole the original one) so it's exceptionally bulky. I keep it on a seperate ring that I only grab when I drive.

I use rechargeable cells in my fenix l0d so I don't care if I leave it on high all the time. The pure energy brand I picked up claims to be LSD type and only cost $7 for 4 at walmart.

Look at the blue hotspot, if it's square/round it's DS or below, if it's oblong it's GS.

I had a DS arc aaa but couldn't bring myself to put it on keychain, and sold it eventually.

I've finally reached what I think is my ideal keychain EDC - starting from tomorrow I'll find out!

Although there's a fair bit on there, it's surprisingly light at 120g (4 oz) so I think this configuration may last a while.

The latest addition is the Vic thing that allows me to separate my car key from everything else quickly, which was a PITA previously. Together with the S-Biner, anything that needs detaching can be got at easily.

I used to come here a lot.

Be careful with that S-Biner.  I find they can unclip very easily.

Yeah, that's been on there a while now, and you do have to watch it. Thing is, I want something that is easy to remove, but only when I want!

I don't have a car or my own business so that cuts down the keys. Also my back door is always bolted and locked so not much point in carrying that key  :)
