Hey sparky, I want to tap your brain!
I need something for my shop, I need like paper towels but too big, I’ve been using napkins, that’s more the size but I’d rather have them on a roll, so what about a toilet paper roll? But how do I hang it or put it somewhere? Thoughts?
Here’s something I found, I remember I saw something else long ago but can’t find it..

Something hanging down from that shelf?

Something made from copper pipe fittings?

I have one of these (second hand) from Ikea, I removed most of the rods and screwed it to the ceiling
The hooks make a handy place to hang stuff while paint is drying etc

 :pok: Your idea?

Nice, there is a rod since it is technically a closet in which I could put through but to put a new roll on every time would be a pain, but I did think of doing it last night! As for my thought I went ahead and did it, I found the pic I remember I saw long ago and after seeing it I new what to do but in which way, I had the perfect container and in the one pic you can see it has the perfect spot to cut out to allow the tp to roll through, or do I do like that soda bottle looking one and rip the core/tube out and pull it through the end? Anyway I figured the center would be better because it would make it easier to get in the container and easier to hang, I think it turned out pretty cool, when I need a piece of tissue just reach up and pull down..

Thanks,
I put the shops ladder to use today too, we had a nasty little storm blow through! I looked up the weather and it said possable t-storms with winds as high as 20mph, yet it wasn’t rain it was hail, then the winds were blowing sideways and we get a warning with winds as high as 80mph, all of a sudden a branch flys by the front window like OMG! I opened the front door and can’t even get out,, it was nasty! Yet only for about 15min cause then all of a sudden it was and still is sunny out! I spoke to our neighbor to check to see if he’s ok cause his chimney was leaking last storm, but all was ok and 2hrs later I finally was able to get home after the Mrs yelled over the fence twice asking for me to come home.. but got the ladder out to get that one nasty branch off the roof then grabbed the other branches pulled around back, so things look better and are in good shape.. still need to trim the branches down to firepit size but that can wait..

Went looking for a new leather belt for work last week at the thrift store. I lucked out and found a really nice thick leather one. The only thing was it was a size 52"    :o      Well I have a 33" waist so I had to cut it and punch some new holes.

Well what to do with the cut off piece ?

Nice new leather strop  :tu:
