Really interesting and different Buck F/S on BF. It's a "Vietnam Bowie build out from 2011, only 10 made for sale to employee's only". Think SOG Bowie and you get the style and blade shape.

Since, everybody is going 'buck-wild'.  I might as well throw some on the photo stack.

Sadly I have started to indulge my interest in non SAK folding knives. I have a couple spyderco slip joints and a fallkniven slip joint.

I decided I wanted to add a locking knife to that and had a look at what spyderco had to offer, but nothing took my fancy.
So had a look at the buck 110 and nearly bought the classic pro version but was not sure if I liked the large old school bolsters.

Then I discovered the slim versions that I really like the look of.
So I have ordered two, a 110 slim pro which comes with a pocket clip, thumb stud, micarta scales and s30v blade. And  the standard version 110 slim also with pocket clip, thumb stud but nylon scales and 420hc blade.

Looking forward to these hitting the doormat and hope now that they will scratch my folding knife itch and I won’t feel the need to buy any more.
My trouble is i never show initiative, but that's only because no one has told me to.

:iagree:  Klein are probably the best you can get, followed by the Ideal branding.

I just spent an hour looking at a knife retailers website and had to shut it down as I started to think about making a purchase.

I am going to allow myself to continue collecting multitools as and when funds allow but I need to nip this knife fascination in the bud for the sake of my sanity.
