I am normally strong with gogglefu but its not working today, can someone post a link for a UK supplier, please.

It's long out of production and as such you'll have to find it second hand.

They're discontinued long ago. Keep your eye on the trade forums here

Looks like they could sell enough just round here alone to do another production run. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled.

I think it's the one tool I wish they would modernise and re-introduce

Sorry to spoil the fun folks, but I had an original Leatherman and the Mini when they first came out and found the Mini to be terribly underwhelming. Not nearly the utility of its big brother and not really any easier to carry. Mine got traded off years ago to I hope a more appreciative home and I've never looked back.

Another mini - picked this one up several years ago.  Looks like it is unused.

Shown with an older wave.  I haven't carried this one but it is certainly small with decent pliers if one needed them.

G'Day,

I'm part of the Club too.

I picked up a VERY slightly used one for $10 Oz. What can one expect from a $10 tool?  ??? I was not too sure, the pics looked a little blurry and they were small. I could not see any rust and it came with an original PST sheath so I decided to take a chance. The tool got delivered today and I was pleasantly surprised. No Rust for a 0998 tool. The blade was as sharp as a Flair spreader knife  ;).  A good soapy bath, ceramic rods and a bit of lube and it is as good as new.

May I present: The Mini-Tool

Cheers,

Pete

Thanks Guys!  :tu:

I think this one may stay in the drawer, but the little blade is wicked. It sharpened up with a razors edge.

I now need an original sheath for it...

Cheers,

Pete

G'Day,

Yep another good deal.

I bought the Mini Tool, 2 Micras, a Vic SD in day-glow yellow, a Vic Super Tinker and a Vic Tinker Delux all for $100. The Micras were basically new, the SD near new too, just needed some sharpening. The two Tinkers are OK as daily users. I am going to "renew" them a bit. New scissors and pliers springs, new tooth pics (I just cannot bring myself using a second-hand toothpic  :o) and new scales.

Cheers,

Pete
