Feeling a little silly this evening. And was looking at how cool the MiniTool is and thought about how silly a majority of "mini" edc items are. Here is a shot of a theoretical MiniEDC.

Leatherman MiniTool.
Victorinox MiniChamp.
Big Lots "Mini keychain one-hand folding knife".
Dollar Tree "Mini aluminum keychain light"(.2Lm).

The MiniTool is the only pint sized part of this EDC that could do more than "sub-light-weight" tasks.   :D

Great pic and seems that would make an awesome lightweight EDC :like: :like:

BTW how is the quality of the folder and light

Thank you,  Poncho! The knife is surprzisingly o.k.(you know.. ultra light weight work) and the light would be fine for casual "find something under the sofa" work. :)

Thank you Poncho and Steve! :hatsoff:  CeHo, what do you mean when you say it's "your next Mini-Tool"? Are you planning on buying it or you already own this one?

What year is your Mini?...I got a brand new on eBay two days ago for $50, it has no date stamped, but the box show 1992 so I think it was a good deal. It was selling at that price because of the laser engraving name on the handle plus the box has some discoloration.

I saw the auction on eBay  :D

It has also no date stamped and no paperwork. I think it’s a newer one...

It should have a date stamp with a newer box like that  They started putting dates on them at the same time as they did the PST

Did you open the handle all the way up and check with a light  Cause that packaging is new enough that it should have a date stamp ???
