The MiniTool might be small, but the MiniTool fan base isn't. :)

Thanks Poncho! :waving:  Had no problem taking apart the BO, I just applied a little heat to the head of the pivot screws with a butane lighter to brake the seal and screw can be unthreaded super easy ;)

Ah :ahhh you are tempting me to hard about it :pok: :D

I may do this someday but I would rather have another BO one before I do

Hello all, i wanted to share my excitement with everybody and post my new BO minitool. It is dated 12/98 on one handle with 07/99 on the other. My satin is not dated, now I'm going to search all the info on these 2 variants due to their slight variances. Enjoy!!

I apologize if I placed this in the wrong thread. But does anyone have a pic or describe the box the BO version comes in? I have a NIB stainless finish one so I know what that looks like.

But when I bought the BO brand new it came inside the ES4 box with Mini Tool instructions, the name ES4 was Sharpied out. No small key ring.

Just curious. Thanks much!!!!

Probably was using the squirt box, it's pretty small.

Yeah I figured, but I was hoping someone still had their box and could share a pic or describe it.

Not urgent, but it’s been nagging at me.

Mine was NIB but was just one of the newer yellow LM generic boxes with MiniTool BO typed out on a sticker and stuck to the side ::) If need be I can dig it out but nothing really fancy about it :ahhh Of course it was sent from LM to MTO about 4 years after they were discontinued so that may be the reason for the generic box :salute:

Thanks Poncho! I’ll do the same as well and get a pic on mine. Bear with me as tomorrow morning a bit of a busy day.

I really dig the vintage look of the boxes of the stainless finish. A bit of shame if they used generic boxes for the BO.

I'd say they were the same boxes for both the SS and the BO :salute: I have both a SS and BO box for the OG Supertool and the boxes are exactly the same except for the sticker on the end of the box

One of these days I'm going to have to learn to take photos, so sorry about that. But the yellow boxes is what the BO finish came in. Squirt ES4 was Sharpie'd out and the instruction booklet was for the modern keychain tools, not the Mini.
So yeah just curious on what they came in. Been meaning to sell the SS Mini but for some reason just love that old artwork.
