Very nice Oldboy2016.  :like:

Appreciate the compliment on my modest collection. Thank you. Really love the Mini. Wish they bring it back with a bit more generous tool allocation.

As Grandpa Simpson would say "Gimme Gimme Gimme !!!"  :D.

Those sheaths, I know the one on the left is the original sheat for the mini, but the one on the right ... is that one self made ?  (or self adjusted to the size of the Mini ?)

Or did Leatherman sell the Mini until they started using that type of sheath in which case it's also an original sheath ?

No, the one on the right is not self made or adjusted to the size of the Mini, that will be a nice job but a lot of work :D....Poncho is correct, it's also legit and it came with my black oxide Mini. It looks to me like LM changed their design during the last years of production because the black Mini I have is dated 2004 but not sure if they were included with both models?

I've been thinking about making a sheath for my MiniTool from a regular Leatherman sheath (nylon or leather, both would be fine for me), and for a moment I thought you did a great job in modding one of the nylon sheaths, but when I took a closer look I noticed that none of the existing sheaths of that style would end up being such a fine Mini sheath ...

I'll keep thinking about how I could mod one  :).

It's your topic that got me thinking about modding a sheath myself  ;).

But since I don't have an old style Leatherman sheath that I can use for a mod like that, and they are very rare here, I would have to use a current leatherman sheath.  I'm going to (over)think a bit more on how I'm going to do it  :D.
