No, the one on the right is not self made or adjusted to the size of the Mini, that will be a nice job but a lot of work :D....Poncho is correct, it's also legit and it came with my black oxide Mini. It looks to me like LM changed their design during the last years of production because the black Mini I have is dated 2004 but not sure if they were included with both models?

I've been thinking about making a sheath for my MiniTool from a regular Leatherman sheath (nylon or leather, both would be fine for me), and for a moment I thought you did a great job in modding one of the nylon sheaths, but when I took a closer look I noticed that none of the existing sheaths of that style would end up being such a fine Mini sheath ...

I'll keep thinking about how I could mod one  :).

Here is what I did

Leather sheath   :multi:

Minitool Leather sheath mod

It's your topic that got me thinking about modding a sheath myself  ;).

But since I don't have an old style Leatherman sheath that I can use for a mod like that, and they are very rare here, I would have to use a current leatherman sheath.  I'm going to (over)think a bit more on how I'm going to do it  :D.
There's a Mini sheath for sale at my contact... :pok:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gm705Itp2OU

 :pok:

Which version and at what price ... ?  :pok:

Budget is almost non-existant, you'll understand when I post a pic from the Christmas gifts my wife got me this year ... (Yes, we already opened our gifts, since I have to work on Christmas we decided to shift everything one day forward, so today was Christmas-eve, and tomorrow will be Christmas.  That way I just have to work your regular average Tuesday instead of Christmas  >:D).

No clue on price yet.

The sheath is the standard nylon one that was designed for the Mini

I meant the older red logo or "new" yellow/black version, but either will do.

If you could enquire about the price next time you speak to your contact, I would be very grateful  ;).

Thank you, Steve!
Good eye, it is a 'modified' early Mini. I ground the stops down to reduce the splay. :)
