I think you will find that there is no room for a bit exchanger

Good part is that I can test a lot of things without modifying the tool first. However, if can make it work the tool will have a significantly improved functional range.

That is a down side to them, they are not very moddable :-\ Other than that they are an awesome companion to a SAK or to a Charge or Wave knife

After looking at it I agree. Besides this tool is the closest I have ever seen to perfection.

What I am going to do is file down the flat driver into a 2D Philips hybrid like in a Micra. Then it will be perfect.

Cheers,
HG

I would advise caution if putting much torque on a screw.  Because the driver is on the end of a file the metal is somewhat brittle, and I've seen quite a few minis with broken files (but that might have been because they were used as a pry bar).

Went into Cork city today for regular shopping.
Turned out not to be that regular after all.
Got myself a brand spanking new Leatherman Mini Tool  :ahhh

He actually had 2 so there is one left for you guys if you'll be in Cork city and time soon  :pok:

That brownish residue you can see on the fully opened tool inside the handle was some old oil.
Cleaned up nicely.

Man, I love that thing  :tu:

I had an old, forgotten, PST sheath in one of the drawers so decided to follow SteveC idea and made it into a Mini sheath, just for the fun of it  :D

Snug fit, not stretched at all. The sheath is old and used so it was already stretched making it the perfect fit for the Mini :tu:
