Yes, rare in these parts. You’re the only other person I know I’m SA with a Mini.  :like:

Hello Hood3dvillain,

Yes, I have a few...

...some of the later models (Wave, Rebar, Skeletool, Sidekick, Wingman, OHT, Signal, ST300), but my preference is definitely the older LM models. In addition to the Mini, I have a few PST/PST-II, Micra, Crunch, Kick, SuperTool and Sideclip).

PSTs are my favourites, followed by Sideclip and Crunch.

So, a few months back I had posted a WTB in the tools wanted forum for a BO Mini Tool in any condition. I watched it for a couple of weeks with no replies other than good luck type responses. I then forgot about it thinking, well it's a pretty long shot anyway.

Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago when out of the blue I get a pm from forum member  Billy Ruffian asking if I was still looking. Well being right before Christmas and after spending most of my funds on slipjoints I wasn't hopeful I would be able to afford one of these rare beauties. I replied that I was and what did you have in mind ?  Billy replied that he had one in almost new condition with the elusive original Nylon sheath.   :ahhh

My heart sank thinking that there is no way I'll be able to swing one at this time thinking it would be pricey.  I replied asking how much he would have to have for it. Well to my utter surprise Billy replied that he would like to give it to me  as it had just sat in his drawer for years and it deserved to be carried.    :o

Well this showed up in my mailbox today all the way from across the pond   :mail:

Thanks again Billy you Rock !

.... seriously though, that is MTO at its best. What a nice gesture from Billy  :tu:
And what a beauty that Mini is  :dd:
It surely is in good hands!
