I have a feeling that gearing up in general is hard over here in Belgium.

Fixed blades all you want, at a variety of prices.
Unallowed to carry them without ACTUAL reason (like hunting, diving, fishing, etc... peeling an apple of self defence is not a valid reason)
But SAK's, which are legal, are harder to find, and when you do: $$$.

Had to search forever to find a friggin firesteel.

0695 (blade handle) 0895 (file handle), thus making my oldest LM by nearly two years (my second oldest being a PST II that's an April, 1997 tool).  No hard wire cutters, but it cuts soft wire better than any used LM I've bought beforehand.  Took me more than a year to find one at my budget of below $20, and  I found an online camping/survivalist supply place selling used knives, with many at excellent, and in fact, very low prices.   I got this one, albeit a little rusty, and its sheath for $16.  It's been pretty much my constant companion in the nearly a month I've owned it.   Don't use the sheath that much (since it's so rare), but it's very comfortably carried on my belt--much better than larger folders and tools.

That's a nice, shiny Mini :tu:

Thanks Mons :hatsoff: I try an keep most of my MTs as clean and pristine as can be even when I use them but a couple of them (the Rebar and Mr. 300) have seen better days if you look at them up close :D

Yes I do carry it with the clip and it works very well  Only when folding it back up you need to turn it pliers down to get the clip out of the way when folding it but other than that it is the best way so far I have found to carry it :tu:

That is the one I always carry and it has seen a good deal of easy use over the years

I need to get one or two of these. Are they a specific make?

Cheers,

I think that most all of them are pretty well the same with tiny differences over the years :tu:

I have a pre-date code one and a couple of the newest ones and one right in between and they all look the same and except for minor things are all the same  Even the BO one I have is the same except for finish :dd: :like: :like:

I suspect Pete was asking about the pocket clip, not the LM Mini  :pok:
