Thanks Stitchy and greg :hatsoff: I was fortunate to get the BO one from a GAW here at MTO back in the 2nd Year Anniversary :o Didn't know they were rare until later :ahhh

The one with no stampings was just one of those right place at right time ebay buys :salute:

Video is outstanding. You are so right they need to do an update to the mini. Add a bit driver, scissors, maybe mini utility blade, NOT a file flathead combo etc...

I’m picking up this Minitool for USD20 and some, but it has a chipped needle nose. There’s no such thing as ‘sending for warranty’ here so I’m looking for suggestions on how to deal with the tip.

Grind it evenly into blunt nose like a Swisstool? Plier head replacement with xxx tool?

How bad is the chip  if it isn't too bad then just even them out or if it is a bad chip then either blunt nose or trying to find a replacement may be your only options :dunno: I forget how much grinding a person. Would have to do to make a old school, older design PST plier head would take

Maybe grind it even and if not satisfactory, replace from a PST/PSTII/Flair head? :dunno:

Can any Mini and PST owner upload a pliers head comparison/ show both tools open side to side? :salute:

The plier heads are very close to the same width and thickness, but the PST plier head is longer.

I am having some trouble with Imgur at the moment. I will upload the pictures as soon as I can.

Thanks for the picture Adam; I thought that Zephon could have just replace one for the other but by the looks of it, there's some serious reprofiling to do so, maybe ground the tips even and call it a day!?! :dunno:

Got distracted but took the pics a couple hours ago

They are very similar but some grinding will have to be done to make it fit :salute: seems like it should work but I have never had to try and therefore I haven't put a lot of thought into it except that it isn't a straight drop in  :tu: Inalso noticed that the sides of the pivot area of the pliers are flatter on the :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh !!!MINI!!! :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh

I had the post open to write it out and now notice that 3 posts were made ::)
