First, thanks Obi1 for doing this challenge and give away. I was going to do this challenge but there is no way I am NOT gonna carry my new SOG Trident Elite that my wife got for me. I mean really, can you blame me...

Look how awesome it is!
However, saying that, I will for the whole month, carry the Power Assist, Trident Elite and the Dark Energy for the whole month. I wasn't gonna be in the drawing anyways since I already have a SP2.0. Anyways, best of luck everyone! I bet I am gonna see some sweet threads and it great to see so many giving SOG a go.

I haven't been to work in a week and won't be going back until Thursday so my powerlock has been more of a paper weight lately.  
A few things I have noticed: its weight is noticeable. When I'm not working I like to carry slim and light tools (Skeletool or Switchplier) so I definately feel the added bulk. Also the covers help when using the pliers as far as comfort goes. However, it is a really pain to get to the tools. For this month I may just give them up. It's too many steps to get to a knife. Overall it is a really good tool and I love being able to customize the tool set instead of being stuck with components I won't use.

Tried something different today: took off the covers and instead of carrying the PL in the sheath, I pocket carried it. Huge difference. It doesn't seem as bulky or heavy this way. So during work I'll sheath carry and al else pocket carry. Also without the covers the internal tools are much easier to access. The covers seems like a halfsmurf solution. They should've just rolled the edges
