I'm quite surprised that you're having to take the lead on this one Higgs. I'd have thought someone here would have had and used one

I know people aren't very fond of their Tru-Sharp steel, so that's why I'm bothering to ask. But the Cases I have are very sharp, stay reasonably sharp, and are easy to sharpen... I think I might do it.

There are most certainly good no name, lesser name, or "bottom rung" stuff from big name companies that never get a mention. May very well be a diamond
I was hoping that someone would offer you advice "Higgy-baby" a reference to Magnum P.I. tv show.LOL.I really haven't had any experience with Case fixed blades and only minimal experience with Case folders.I did put this Case on my watch list because I thought it was such a great looking knife and really inexpensive.http://www.ebay.com/itm/272059693545?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
