Last night, I just purchased the deluxe version of the Good Dinosaur on Blueray 3D, and watched it. My jaw dropped at how beautiful this movie is. I mean, I had to pinch myself several times by having to remind myself that this is an animated movie. The backdrop is insanely realistic. The 3D effect of this movie were very high. In fact, I would have to say one of the best I have ever seen on my 3D enabled TV.

If you haven't seen this movie yet, what are you waiting for? It is worth it just for the backdrop. If you have 3D at home, you especially need to see this. I rarely watch movies multiple times, but I can see myself watching this one again and again.

Will be watching it this weekend, hopefully.

Some of the animations and CGI that come out these days are very impressive. The younger Arnie in Terminator Genisys was so real. Planet of the Apes comes into mind too. Might not need overpaid actors in the future or to film on location or to build very expensive sets. In a way it's sad though.

This movie really needs to be seen in 3D. They did such a good job with it.
