I've been using this thing for around 20 years. Looking at the chronology page I'm guessing 95? Not sure though. I came to this site to research a new tool even though this thing still works like it did new.

Welcome Inlaw

Look inside the handles , there will be a date code stamped in the back side of the handles.

I carried my PST for twenty years as well until I came here researching a new one. I ended up getting a Rebar but now I have a bunch of Leathermans and SAk's

As I see, this one was produced in the period from 0696 to 0298  ;)

Yeah that sounds about right (96 - 98) but I don't see a date code anywhere.

Nice looking PST   :like:

You may have to open all the tools and get it into a good light or shine a light into the handle to see the date code and it should be in both handles :tu:

Yep good call, there it is - 1297.  Never even knew that was in there. Now I need to find the other, thanks!

By the "other" I mean the other PST, which I inherited from my Dad. It is older, has one of the patent stamps, but otherwise looks pretty much the same. When he passed away I gave it to my youngest son who has been collecting knives for for a few years. He turned 12 last month. There is no telling where he left it, but I've seen it recently so I know it's still around  ::)
