Owning my first PST has really given me a new respect for leatherman. The PST is just a fantastic tool. It cuts into the hands a little bit when using the pliers but damn is it a great size and It just disappears into the pocket. It defiantly a new favourite of mine. Now to get a PST2 and a Pulse....... :ahhh

One of us one of us !  :D

I carried a PST for 20 years everyday for work, they are a great MT    :tu: :tu:

My first MT was a first gen Wave and i've never owned anything older than that. I use to think the older tools looked basic and dated but after deciding to get one just for the collection i've soon realised there just brilliant. I cant wait to get more older models. I luv the look of the locks on the Pulse and super tool 200, i will have to get one of those as soon as money permits. I feel like i've opened a whole new can of worms lol  :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh

EDIT: i forgot to ask, do you still have that same PST SteveC?

You should put an Original Supertool on your list as well   :D

I do still have my first PST although It's retired   :salute:

 (Image removed from quote.)

Oh there all on the list don't you worry  :tu: . Your PST still looks great. They really are built to last. How comes you have retired it? is it because it has too much sentimental value attached and they wouldn't be able to repair it any more?

Hard to tell from the pic but the pliers teeth are rounded off , file is worn out and the phillips has seen better days.

I have four other PST's that I can carry when I feel like carrying one. So it's basically retired due to redundancy and sentimental reasons. It still would work fine in a pinch though.    :tu:

I love this thread!  For all the advantages of the new mt's, you just can't beat the PST'S.

Um, at the risk of shooting myself in the foot here, someone of us in New York's Hudson Valley region near Fishkill May want to take a peek at the local Craigslist, for sale section and just search up 'leatherman'.

The pristine condition early 90's PST that is available with leather sheath, white box with red grid pattern, and included instruction sheet, is nearly too much to bear. I'm 3 hours drive or so away, and even I'm thinking of making that drive.

Anyone of us any closer and want it? I'd rather see one of us get it than someone who doesn't know it's value and place.

Yes I posted it in the deals and auctions section as well but don't know how many of us look there. I figured if any other club should be informed about it, should be this one
