Interesting, but not at the $49.99 MSRP. $19.99 looks about right. $29.99 is what I assume they will sell for. Thanks for the heads up.  :tu:

CRKT do make some good knives, but I think they only ever do multitools at the end of a heavy night's drinking. They must get to work on a Monday morning, just about recovered, then one of them will go .....

"Oh crap, has anyone seen what we designed an ordered 10,000 units of this weekend"

Personally I don't this is a MT.
It is multi functional but its form factor doesn't transform.

I'd buy this one long before I bought another Raptor.

But that's just me....

I finally got to hold one a couple days ago. Would get one if they weren't so stupid expensive. What didn't you like?

They also had the Leap. Open and closing the pliers was good, the rest no thanks. I'll take the kids in sometime and see what they think.

I finally got to hold a Raptor in person a couple weeks ago. Holy cow! I was expcting something significantly lighter.  That bad boy was heavy. After that experience I dont find it suprising at all that the Raptor isnt very popular with the Emergency Services crowd.

Cutleryshoppe has the Raptor at $48 right now. I think I paid $42 shipped when I got mine. I would not pay much more than that for one though.

Thanks capt.

I want to go back and look at them again after reading this - Broke my Raptor!

Meanwhile I could possibly spend my limited funds on a Knipex or two.
