Haha all true. It does machine very nicely though. With high rpm and slow feed rate it cuts nicer than steel. Cutting by hand though is a huge pain.
Next steps: Trying to make a micarta mini-screwdriver! (yeah, this is only a dream...)Making a gold/bronze anodized Ti clip

I wasn't really happy with the thickness of my Micarta scaled Compact, thus it came rarely in my pocket, so yesterday his scales were sanded nearly down to the stock scale thickness -which is much better-Now the scales are lighter (in weight, but also in color tone) and smoother! (used grit 80 to remove material, then 120,320,400, and 800/1000, I didn't have thinner grit under the hand)I'll carry it more often now
