Very nicely done!  You've really mastered the art of pin peening.

No I didn't, or at least not enough to dare trying to peen visible rivets like on alox

But thank you  :like:

Not a SAK mod, but I'm quite happy with the result : a 5mm thick Titanium Heart shaped pendant

- Raw cut and shaping done with angle grinder (OMG the burning sparks ....) and a coarse file
- Fine shaping with smaller medium files and diamonds files
- Hand grinding with abrasive papers ... a long long time :
180, 240, 320, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1200, 1500, 2000, 2500, and finally 3000

I couldn't wait for a Wenger file, so I resigned to make a Titanium Wenger Voyageur instead!

1st step : cutting roughly the needed Titanium using the templates (I used old scales + the aluminium liners to get both good external dimensions and well placed holes

2d and 3rd step: rough shaping, and then getting more precise on the back,... and the belly

scales are done ! (here they are from the back, the front side has little bevels on the holes, and they need some sanding)

thank you :)
you don't need that much tools,
I only used
- hand drill mounted on a stand,
- hacksaw,
- a set of metal files ( and an angle grinder / dremel tool for faster shaping, but beware they eat fast and might make more harm than good ...)
- clamps / vice
- sand paper(s)
- material : titanium sheet (1mm thick), brass sheet (I used 0.3mm thick, but that might be too thin), 2.5mm brass rod

next :
1- dry run time !

2- pre-peening ...

3- making brass liners ... because titanium stick too much on the tools and prevent smooth action

4- making the tail piece ! that was tough to make (ok, not as much as filing titanium by hand.)

snap is super good (as good as its donors, the blades comes from a Basic 62, that has a smooth but kinda 'weak' spring)
it was sticky on the first assembly (without brass liners, the titanium scales where in direct contact with tools), but with brass liners it is really top notch !
so I really am happy with that build :)
