The BBC is hyping up the big storm hitting the East Coast of the States...

How bad is it? Are any of us affected?
There is no beginning,or ending, and for this we are thankful, cos now is hard enough to understand!

Approximately 16" of white stuff where I am in PA.  And it's still falling... We're staying indoors.  At least we have electricity.

Stay safe everybody.

Agreed, stay safe everyone. At least it sounds like the kids will enjoy a snow day or two from school.

12 inches so far North and West of Baltimore.  Deeper drifts but it's cold (20F) so the snow is light and fluffy.  Power is on, which is huge.  South and East, where they got significant ice and sleet and higher winds, I think they're hurting much more. Plowing and shoveling today.

4" of snow in Kentucky - at least where I am.  Lots of hype, not so much snow.  The northeast U.S. is really getting it though.

And again, Vermont is getting missed entirely.

Not complaining per say, but it is weird. All the good storms have tracked south of us the past couple years.

I had to put on my hip waders to shovel the snow in areas where I couldn't maneuver my snow blower.

Really, really heavy snow and fierce winds here in NYC. Can barely see the buildings across the street.  Driving ban in all 5 boroughs. Hope to get out to Central Park tonight with my dog when this lets up. Should be stunning.

Here in eastern Pa, it's been snowing since 6 pm last night. There is probably 12-15 inches on the ground now. The entire deck is covered in snow. I can't even see the steps to the porch. Mrs tj's car is totally buried in the driveway.

At 10:30 this morning we had 14" here in Elizabeth NJ.  As of right now we're near the 2 foot mark.  It's still coming down hard.  Well, maybe not down per se, it's coming in sideways.  Everything's shut down tight, but the power has stayed on.

Well, normally we get something over here in Mi, but we've gotten squat, maybe an 1-1/2" so far this winter? Right now it's green out,  Hope you all stay safe!

Ya the news keeps talking about the winter storm you guys are getting, like the white fluffy stuff will kill us all.
