Mattexian, sorry to hear about the unexpected hospital visit but glad that the mass was found. I wish you the best of luck. Don't think there's any SAK that will help you out with a situation like that but positive thoughts will. Have a speedy recovery and here's hoping to only great news for you.

Thanks for the positive vibes, the oncologist is confident we can beat this with better living thru chemistry.

I'm already three-fourths of the way thru my chemo treatments, with a couple of aimed radiation cycles after that, and I should be good as new (with worn parts).

Another part of the choice is that this one is kinda a morale booster for me, as it was one I drooled over in the display case, until one day that knife shoppe had closed their door and I didn't have anywhere else to buy one, til I watched and waited on ebay, finally lucking out last summer. Long ago, I dreamed of becoming an astronaut, like Jose Jimenez, repeatedly checking out the Space Shuttle Operator's Manual from the library, and this is a reminder of those rosy days, before reality smacked me in the face.
