Darkpsyche's FEBRUARY CHALLENGE MT.O CYBERTOOL thread
on: February 01, 2016, 05:36:42 PM
My thread for the Official MT.O CYBER TOOL , SWISSCHAMP AND TOOL CHEST- FEBRUARY CHALLENGE, with my custom cybertool! I have an additional bit kit holding 10 bits with a washer on each, that snugly fit the bits into the Cybertool.

In the future it might be a good idea to reduce the size of the pics.   ;)

Day 4: Including it into a new electronic repair edc kit

Also includes:
- leatherman es4 squirt
- wires
- solder less connectors
- microfiber cloth
- 10 double sided bits (to fit into cybertool drive)

I had to strip some wires but used the Cybertool instead of the leatherman strippers, just cuz I can :P

I live 20 miles from the german border, so I go there regularly for beer (mostly Becks and 'special beers' like IPA's), whisky etc. Its much cheaper there because the tax on alcohol is much lower than in the Netherlands.

Can you talk us through your additional bits and the o-rings?
Do you find you use them regularly? Over the included bits?

I carried my CT29 yesterday and actually got good use out of it. Fixed a door with a Philips (nice reach could not do with can opener) and adjusted a friends knife pivot with the Torx.

Sure, the double sided bits are from a screwdriver kit, if you google "30-in-1 Extendable Flex Shaft Precision Screwdriver Set" you can find several.

The O-rings are from metricscrews.us, the specific part is: Rubber Washer 2mm ID x 4mm OD x 1mm CS (10532)

I also have 4 small magnets glued in the driver socket and in each bit holder.

The bit case is from an old radio shack precision bit driver kit.

Day 9: Finally got to use the pin tool! Needed to stop a computer fan to test if the sensor was working, blocked by a grate.

Also used the driver for some euro connectors.
