Collected over the past 10 years, I think this is a good display of the evolution of the tool.

.... and some v1 and v2 Mr Pinchy's (the original Gerber multitools were called "Multi-Pliers").

Here's a link to a thread about the very first Gerber MT with some excellent photos:

And here's a link to a post I did describing the early Gerber MTs:

Nice spread of Gerbers you got there airballrad! :tu: Nostalgia for the old Mr. Pinchy's aside, I really like the way Gerber continued to improve this model over the course of 20+ years. :salute:

Thanks for the links!

I do have a NIB original Multi-Plier that I picked up some time back. The design shows its age, but I like it!

Thanks! I agree; one of my favorite elements in collecting multitools is seeing design evolution. The old tools are still awesome, but some of the newer ones can do amazing things.

I've been considering picking one of these up due to the bladeless factor making them UK legal, not seen many reviews online though, this thread makes me tempted.

Thats a great review! One of the better MT ones I've watched..
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.
