The subject of Moonbase Alpha,and it's Eagle Transporters popped up in another thread. I said I'd take some pics of my Eagle for Mags. I hope you enjoy

Thanks for taking the pics Kirk  :cheers: Space 1999 was one of my fave shows as a kid and I spent many many happy hours flying my Eagle around on missions. That is until it got shot down by the Nuclear warhead tipped torpedo from the vastly better armed SHADO Interceptor.

The Eagle is a classic spaceship - easily as iconic as anything you'll see in Star Wars.

I kept trying to build one from Lego as a kid. In my early twenties,I got my hands on the old Airfix kit...there's just something about the Eagle. Glad you liked the pics :tu:

Ah man, that theme music brings back some memories. :dd:

Given that it was first shown the year I was born I must have seen it repeated.  Still remember it from when I was very young though.

Need to see if I can watch it again now.

I've been watching the first season of Space 1999, loved that show. The second season, or as I like to call it "The American Season" dumbed it down so much it wasn't fun for me anymore.
