It's a pen that looks like a pen but is built like a tank. I practiced using it as a pain compliance device as well as a stabber and it's come through with flying colors. I've carried it into a lot of different NPEs without a single eyebrow being raised (especially when it's clipped to a note book or carried in a shirt pocket).

Perhaps I am too sensible...P.S.: Like Court guards

To top it off it is a knurled grip and yet doesn't scream weapon, and they were going for like $25, only thing is they guy who makes them is on leave or something, I've messaged him twice but no return, so idk if there going to go back to making it or what..JR

I can assure it to you because I got one in smooth black before the guy closed his store in ETSY (Image removed from quote.)
Not tactical, but cheap/replaceable and effective. A papermate pen cut down to 2.75". Using that the last 2 months every day and the friction cap is unloseable so far.

Quick update on my tactical pen, I sent it back for refund after it got kicked out from the court house today. The guards knew what it is, defining it as a "weapon".

Don't know if this was mentioned before, but I carry a telescopic Zebra pen. It's quite small when shoved together, but still decently useable while retracted.Refils cost €0.50 over here.No tactical use possible but I use my flashlight for that anyway.
Ok, I did a little thinking, I'm after something that's easy to carry, something just to toss in a pocket, and something that writes something down? And preferably something that not totally expensive and easy to use! So it hit me, what about a pencil instead of a pen? I remembered I had a bullet pencil loooong back, simple, writes stuff down, easy cheap refills, just got to trim the tip and I don't go anywhere without a knife? And to top it off in case something happens it's not ink so no exploding or dried out? So I did some looking, and I found that they still make them, simple slip together, yet also found a little bit more expensive a screw together, and to top it off a kinda tactical one, that one I wrote to to get some info.. Yet I also found something interesting, a bullet style bic like pen, a little bit more heavier plastic case, same design as a bullet, and I spoke to the designer and come to find out he said that the ink is the same as a bic, so just snip it to fit for a refill? To top it off the ink cartridge is inclosed so if it does leak or do something while in a pocket you won't know till you take it out and take it apart! Best of all, they come in a three pack and for only like $10! Diff colors available, and while speaking to him I found out later down the line he might be making a attachment with a keychain part.. So, not only diff pens, but pen or pencil? JR
