Blue. Yeah. More appealing and with superior blade.
Is it more collectible too? Thanks

There's a local online seller here in the Philippines, and he is selling it at 10,200,pesos equivalent to ~USD 220 each.

Pre-orders are $149 at a few places for Powernoodle Blue - knifecenter, knifeworks, bladehq, etc.

I have Blue and Brown flavors from past dealer exclusives and sprint runs.  Both are quite tasty.  But to my eyeballs the blue just pops more, and is farther outside the mainstream than the brown - which is a fine color in its own right.

I'm not a supersteel aficionado, so I'm groovy with either of them in that regard.

This Para 2 is more of a true blue, whereas the current pre-order borders on purple/blurple.

Excessive consumerism:  I just found 2x Blue/S110v Para 2's that I didn't know I had.

I would say blurple is right.   Dark blue/purple.

Sorry, been working a lot.

I would personally go brown with S35Vn. I like S35 and anything harder is just to hard to sharpen with my sharpmaker. Just my personal preference. Plus I like brown.

I am drooling over the pics, but am sad all at once. I had to sell all but one of my PM2's.  :-\

The s35 isn't much different than the s30 in the stock ones.  I like the brown handles though better than the blurple but depending on the price each is going for, I would go with the s110v blurple one.

The only PM2 I have left has the green scales and the CTS-204P steel and I like that steel alot!  :)

Honestly, you may be better off - and more mentally stable - than someone like me who has too many of them.  You may appreciate your one Para 2 more than I appreciate my arsenal of them.

I got one of the Cap'ns PM2's, and I'm never making the mistake of letting it go again.......

While there is appeal in a sprint or exclusive run model; I would be more than happy with a plain black S30V version. I found I carried it more and kept my 204P one safe and sound. These days I carry a Sage 1 in office/urban settings and Military on weekends.

Definitely the blue version with S110V steel.
There is a reason why Sal Glesser designated this steel to be regular production in the PM2 and in the upcoming Military model, and maybe even a few more models.
It's a true upgrade compared to S30V and S35VN.
Think S90V with higher hardness, noticeable easier sharpening, and better corrosion resistance.

All PM2's come in great practical steels, s30v is nothing to be brushed off and ignored.
Having said that I absolutely love my CTS-204P one and I have a CTS-20CP (Grey) incoming too.
Me and a friend have finally concluded the deal on the grey one.

I have a spare set of grey scales, could one dye them?

I'm in trouble, scored some parts for my old shotgun, and when I walked into the gun shop the first thing I saw was a considerably beefed up Spyderco selection.....
That P'kal is not in my budget range intended use range, but man I like it......
