Finally!(Image removed from quote.) Hey I'm new here, give me some time to figure it out! Well you've already worked out that no-one takes anything pfrsantos says seriously. Ever. Welcome to the forum.
As always late to the dinner table. I got a SS E05 and its been nothing but trouble. It wont stay on and if its slightly bumped it turns off. I'm gonna call Fenix and see if they will take a look at it. I've tried several batteries to see if its a connection issue. I've also cleaned the thing several times according to how Fenix says. Seems like somethings loose within the head. I also gave up on button cell lights. I had a Photon X on my keys for a few years but removed it. I had some issues with it accidentally turing on. I still have it but now its been relegated to emergency back up. It cannot be accidentally turned on so we'll see. I have 2 Thrunite Tis single mode lights and they have been problematic as well. The little spongy thing that is between the battery and head is lame. I knew it was a battery crusher but dang. I beat the crap out of one to get it to work and oddly it now does. My 4/7s ATOM A0 is finicky. I've had problems with it wanting to switch modes or not turn on at all. It has something between the battery and head as well. I have a Thrunite Ti Xmas edition which has been great. I also have a Lumintop Worm SS that also has been great. These lights have won out as my keychain lights. I also have 4/7s Preon P0 that has been decent. I guess as with all things each owners mileage varies, as they say. I sure hope you have flawless usage and a long life with yours.
I know I am late as you got your flashlight. However I want to give my input in case someone else is reading the thread and and would care for some additional advice. The best flashlight I have ever had is the Photon Micro-Light II. There are plenty of pirate copies and they are just worthless. The real one got much brighter led. It is so small and light and really easy to light up with just one hand:

If you pay £1 or so, then it's a copy. If you pay £10 or more and it comes in proper packaging then it's not. However, I also feel that the Photon now lags behind the likes of the Nitcore Tube.
What bugs me on these Photons are the seemingly elevated chances of accidental activation and also the lack of a housing for the LED; aren't they blinding because of this?

I have a photon and its not too bad regarding being blinding. There are some with a "covert" cover and I've seen DIY covers for the led.
On the genuine Photon Freedom micro it is possible to program it to automatically switch itself off after a shortish time (1-2 minutes ?), with fauxtons you can bend the legs on the LED so it is unlikely to turn on unless pressed quite firmly (and the simple ones only stay on if you slide the little plastic lever, which is very unlikely to happen accidentally).
