I'm a user, not a collector. It's not a collection. It's just the result of evolving choices in watches, and circumstance.

Left to right
Seiko 5, Seiko SKX007, vintage Accutron (top), another Seiko 5 (bottom), and a Citizen eco-drive.




 
I started off with the Seiko 5s, and then I switched to a Citizen eco-drive. I missed automatics, so I went with the SKX out of preference for the utility of ISO rated divers. 

The Accutron belonged to a deceased family member and either I grabbed it or it would been thrown away. That would have been a waste. 

I can keep the Seiko 5s for spare parts since they have the same engine as the SKX. The Accutron was saved from the dumpster. The Citizen is the only quartz I have, and it's useful as a beater.

That model of Eco Drive is awesome! Mine found a new home in Germany with Thomas.
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

Yes, and he still enjoys to wear it on more formal occasions - It sits on a nice black leather strap and is part of my formal/dressy carry.

Me too, although the ZA2 has never been worn.  :D

The ZA1 on the other hand has been on many adventures and has taken a serious pounding over the years and is still very functional.  One of these days I'll get around to sending it back to Zed for an overhaul- the crystal is scratched, the cyclops eye is gouged and the seals are a bit.... well, they don't stand up to being slammed by ten foot ocean waves the way they used to.   :whistle:
