You know when a screw annoys you so much, you just want to hit it with a hammer? In the old days you had to use your screwdriver as a hammer, or, go and get a hammer.
Not anymore! Lidl now sells what I only expected to find on the banned Chinese sites - a hammer with a ratchet and screwdriver bits!!
For under 9 Euro you get a tool that can be used as a ratchet screwdriver, straight or at a 90 degree angle, with
• 3x Cross head bits
• 2x Flat head bits
• Magnetic bit holder
• Ratchet handle
• Bits are stored inside the handle
AND a hammer.
Straight ratchet
Hammer/90 degree ratchet
Heavy enough
The ratchet feel OK, for the job, and is easy to change direction, using the red collar.
The hammer is a metal cap about 2mm thick, on the end of the ratchet. It seems to have enough weight behind it for small nails, and the metal frame of the hammer, again, feels up to small jobs.
bit storage
The bits and extender (why? - they could have included some more bits there)
The handle has a soft ruberised cover and feels secure and comfortable in the hand.
Overall, it is a useful little tool, as you get two decent tools/functions on one tool, without it being twice the size.
I will see if there is space for more bits in the handle.
THIS WAS NOT A REVIEW!!
It seems to be the same as this Wolf tool.
