I have to be on the tele in the morning.

I'm going to be interviewed for about 3 minutes about the scout program I run at the Renaissance festival.  I have no desire to be on TV but my contract with the festival says I must make public appearances if called upon to do so.  This would be less of an imposition if I had more notice, but I just got the call about 4:30 this afternoon.  The good thing about it is I might get the word out about the program and get more scouts to show up for it.

Congrats  :cheers:  Work on your lines, speak fast but clearly to squeeze in more words on the alloted time. Use hand gestures like politicians to look interesting. Extra grooming time in the morning. Have a good breakfast and stay hydrated.  Wait, I just giving you advise that you did not ask  :P

They wouldn't have asked me to do it if anyone else knew anything about the scout program other than to say, "yes, we have a scout program."  I had to wait an hour and a half to do a live 3 minute segment.  I wanted to take a picture of my Wave in the studio for today's challenge pick, but I couldn't get away with it.  :multi:

The NBC affiliate in South Florida hasn't posted today's show yet but it may be on there later today or tomorrow.  http://www.nbcmiami.com/  It will be under entertainment. The show is called "6 In The Mix."

I think I have those 12 minutes accounted for.  Remember the shows when we were kids where you sit there while some nice old guy in a clown suit reads the Sunday funnies to you.  I was on 1 of those shows about 42 years ago.

The show was Toby the Robot and I went with my cub scout troop. It had to have been early 1970's.  Now that I think about it we also were on the Skipper Chuck show.  The links will tell you a little about the shows but you won't be seeing me.  I was merely one of thousands.
