Yes , its across the top also , never really noticed it before, I never dropped or abused it in anyway , kind of strange I guess. You can almost see light through it. Spoke with the warranty division and explained , they did not think it is going to be a problem. I'll keep you posted.
My Delica is a favorite of mine. I love the size and carry comfort. Whatcha gonna carry while at warranty?

I'll keep you posted.Spyderco's warranty division are not a fun bunch of people to deal with, so good luck with that. A crack at the top of the blade shouldn't be too big of an issue given where it is but you should keep an eye on it, as it can lead to more torsional stress on the blade.

Just received a phone call from Spyderco warranty, they are shipping me out a new Delica at the end of the week at no charge ,
