This looks kind of interesting.  A smart watch designed in such a way that it fits over your existing watch.

Too bad they made it to fit a certain line of their own watches.   If they made a generic clip on that attaches to a wrist band of any watch they'd probably sell more.

I wonder how well it will fit over other watches?

I'm not sure I see the sense in this.  Isn't the market limited to people who both want a "Smart" watch and happen to own a Vic INOX watch already?  Or do they think that folks will buy both the Vic watch and add-on rather than just buying a dedicated smart watch.

I agree that it would be useful to know if this was going to fit on more that just Vic watches.

There are a few models around, fitting various watches. Usually they cost the same as a smart watch.

This would make sense only on a proper modular system or if it was just as tough as the inox.

Actually it makes little sense.......  And you will look weird.

My guess is they are hoping for a boost in sales from people who want it but also need to get the watch to go with it.  I don't know- why Victorinox is making the jump to smart watches when they completely bypassed digital watches is also something I wonder.  As I said, I think I would prefer something standalone to something that wraps around a nice looking watch and makes it look bulky and generic.

I don't quite get it either.  I would love to know how these products get pushed through when ALOX with scissors takes years.  My guess is Acer developed it and came to Victorinox to brand it.  Someone at Victorinox probably has a shiny new dump truck in their driveway as a result of this.

Why are they calling it Cybertool? Confusion much.

Yeah, I also thought that was kind of silly.  Apparently Victorinox wanted to keep the tradition of confusing names alive, like the Huntsman, Fieldmaster and BSA Huntsman which is actually a Fieldmaster with a BSA logo on it.  Or the numerous versions and sizes of the Golfer.   ::)
