Your Knife or MT with Tea.
on: March 20, 2016, 02:13:26 PM
With all these SAK/Leatherman and coffee threads I feel left out since I do not drink coffee. I do however enjoy some tea so I figure for the left out members we can have a tea based thread.

I do not have a picture right now as I just bought a new kettle and its yet to be washed and cycled before first use. I should get a picture or two up today or tomorrow. In the mean time feel free to post your own pics.  :salute:

I found a old one from last autumn. Its a Solingen made multifunctional pocket knife, and not a SAK though...

Wenger Highlander with a box of PG Tips....great tea and great thread!  We drink mostly tea here at the house, and coffee out on the road.  If I were to give up one, it'd be a tough decision!!

Excellent idea Captain !!

I quite liked the subversive posting of tea in the SAK's and Coffee thread but I'm buying in to this. So here's a nice cuppa and my blue Alox Cadet

Looking good everyone.

I went to make tea earlier and you would not believe the process. First cup was made and I went to add honey and the entire top fell off into my tea as well as a whole lot of honey. I poured it out and made a new cup. Not a minute into steeping a friend called and I had to quickly leave so that cup got poured out as well.  I am no longer in the mood for tea so it will probably be a number of hours before I make a new cup.

On the upside I have always wanted a electric kettle and the extremely inexpensive one I just bought is working very well.  :tu:

If you guys don't mind I would like to change this thread a bit. I want to open it up to ANY knife or MT with tea thread. I feel like the thread will go longer and I love seeing variety. If you guys are good with it can a MOD please change the title to "Your Knife or MT with Tea." You will also need to put it in General Tool Discussion.

Thank you!  :salute:

No tough decisions here, tea all the way for me :D

@Captain, I think making at least a couple of cups at a time pays off better  ;)

I kind of read it like that as well.

I would be lying if I said I never indulged in pot tea back in the day. Ah the good ole days.  :D

Great idea for a thread Cap'n, speaking as a diehard tea-aholic. My Rebar lives in my kitchen so it was close to hand and it's always a decent brew with Yorkshire.
