My latest folder!!
on: March 20, 2016, 02:27:40 PM
I have wanted a good stag handled knife for a few years now, but either did not have the money to buy one, or just could not find one I liked...until now!!  >:D :D This just arrived a few days ago and I have to show it off!!

The closest quality knife I had like this before this Boker (with scales like this) was a Bear and Son stag bone model. It is a nice knife, but this one is real stag. This Boker also came with a nice leather sheath and a soft carrying bag, all in a nice box. It is a mid sized knife, just over 4 inches closed, with German 440C steel. I am real happy with it!  :tu:

That hits all the right buttons for me.Nice size,440c stainless steel drop point blade, lock back design [unless it's been deactivated] and magnificent stag scales.Let's also not forget German old world craftsmanship.

Great acquisition!

Thanks everybody! I have always liked traditional knife styles, like the old slip joints. Some of them with the bone, stag, pearl, etc, scales were just pieces of art. Even though I own my fair share of modern folding knives, some of them just start looking the same after a while. When I started hord..., I mean, collecting knives  >:D  :D, I started with traditional style ones.
