CC Plier swap on my Rebar II
on: March 20, 2016, 04:39:04 PM
Did a little plier swap on my Rebar yesterday. I've been finding my tools with the cap crimper head pretty handy lately and I don't cut much wire so I thought a swap was in order. I picked up some parts on the forum including a couple of  plier heads. One CC from a Charge and the other one from a Wave that may become a blunt nose down the line.

I also polished both blades a while back

I doubt it, I prefer to sheath carry my Multitools and carry a knife with a clip. I was going to convert the Wave diamond file that I got with the plier heads to fit in the Rebar. Unfortunately the non diamond side is really dull so I'm not going to bother.

I carry a Wave Diamond File in with the bit kit.
If for some reason I don't take the bit kit or day pack with me then I move it to the wallet or down the side of the water bottle.
I was thinking about cutting it down to fit beside the Charge Saw but I may just swap it with the Serrated Blade.
