Thank you!

I'm really wanting the blue one, blueberry I think it's called.
Do you already have one in another colour? What are you waiting for?  :pok:

I'm still wondering about the durabilaity of these pens, as far as I can see, the only thing that could happen is that the cap gets loose? Will this pen last me as long as a SAK?  :climber:

Yeah I edc a chrome one with my name laser engraved on it

Great choice :tu:

I carry a chrome one daily for work and a black one otherwise :tu:

I have had the chrome one for a couple years maybe and I got the black one last year  Both have been extremely durable for me.and I am very pleased with my purchase  :like:

I ordered a chrome bullet today, ´the o-ring on my grip model broke, so now I'm going for the standard version. The rubber parts were clearly the weak points on the model especially since I'm prone to fiddle with them. Other than that they seem more or less bulletproof, there are hardly anything to break on them.

Not good to hear about the O-ring.  :-\
I believe that you can buy replacement O-Rings though?  :)

Yes, you could probably buy them for next to nothing, I tried looking if I had one already but alas no. I also wanted the new one since I have realised I prefer the cleaner lines. Will get pictures up!

So here comes a slightly overdue comparison picture of my two Bullets. I haven't moved over to carrying my new one since I'm still considering whether to try to keep it looking nice with a sleeve of some sort. That's the trouble with chrome, it looks great but doesn't age very well imho. I have been writing a little with it though and I'm really happy with the grip it has considering that there's no rubber to hold on to as on my old one.

Nice!  8)
Are the grip sections the same diameter?

I suppose that its one advantage for matte black and similar colours, when they wear, they don't look too bad.

(Image from The Pen Addict, I'm still waiting for my pen to look like this.   )

And of course, the raw brass and lacquered brass pens will not visibly wear at all, just develop a patina.

Without actually measuring them the grips seem to be the same diameter, might be a millimeter or so of difference.

Great review Pablo. After many years on being distinctly underwhelmed by a grey titanium space pen which spent most of it's time sneaking through my pocket linings into my jacket and then being a flipping nuisance to extract I have become a convert and they're now my EDC after years with roller balls, fountain pens etc. I've still got that original space pen but the clip keeps it securely in place. I'll get a pic and post a few thoughts later. In the meantime here's my Black Ti Nitride with my Vic Explorer for Four Layer Friday !

I've gone Black for Spartan Saturday and here's some bullet pens for good measure which Squeak is admiring. Grey titanium, with and without shuttle emblem, black titanium nitride and purple passion. The grey titanium is very slippery in the hand or pocket and to be frank the shuttle is a bit of a disappointment and not brilliantly fitted. But I you can't beat a good bit of grey Ti.

I love the black of the black titanium nitride and have a purple cartridge in that one. Which brings us to the Purple Passion. Just love the colour of that too but with black ink. I lost my first purple passion and just had to replace it.

The grey titanium without the shuttle was my first space pen and it was only many years later that I picked up the purple passion on a whim and became hooked. I gave away my brass bullet a few years back and I really must replace that. I loved the brass look. They have been very good writing companions at countless meetings and been great to fiddle with when those meetings get boring. They write well and sit comfortably in the hand. Reliable and tough they can cover formality or a tough day out on site. And they can sit in a pocket or clipped on a shirt pocket. So .... What's not to like eh?

They are all very nice.  8)
Doesn't the shuttle catch on stuff?

I tend to like colours that, if they wear, whats underneath won't look bad.

Do you find any difference in the "feel" of things like the tightness of the caps?

The shuttle hasn't hung up on anything so far ... but it's a pressed fitting and a bit loose so it could catch I guess. I don't carry that one with a clip so we'll see how it goes. The lacquer on the purple passion has taken a few knocks but I'm happy it's got that hard working look. Titanium nitride is pretty hard and should last my needs and then some so wear is just wear for me.

Practically the Ti nitride cap feels a bit different when posted to that on purple or the grey Ti and the spiralling on the barrel of the titanium nitride feels like a crisper cut but to be honest the biggest difference is that the grey Ti are just such slippery suckers. They almost leap out of your hands. Did I mention that before?

Yes, once or twice.  :P

My pen has gotten its first battle scars.  :drink:

I dropped the cap, which presumably landed on the lip, deforming it slightly, enough to score the finish when I put the cap on the end.  :-\
The slight deformation(which I might have not noticed if it was not scoring the finish) has been corrected, but the scoring is here to stay.
The ground I dropped the cap on was an angled metal trailer door, in case you were wondering. So the circumstances were a little unusual...

Hooked, like everyone else. ;)

And I think that I can trust NASA when they say that the Fisher refill can write for 4,570 metres(15,000 Feet) on 0.682cm3 of ink.  :tu:  (Data from vintage pdf)

Only question though... Are they talking about the medium or fine refill?   :ahhh
I'm using a Fine, so when I run out I'll be sure to tell you all how much I think I wrote.
90% of my writing is in notebooks that I keep when full, so it should be possible.

+1

I think in Chris Hadfield's book, An Astronaut's Guide to Life on Earth, he mentions using a Sharpie in space. So Mr Fisher was getting a bit ahead of himself in the marketing stakes. I guess it's good he at least asked NASA first before going out and printing that. I'm sure in Apollo 13, you can see Kevin Bacon with an AG-7 but I think Tom Hanks uses a pencil to write down the guidance calculations.

I had a Capomatic which was a gift from my wife, but lost it on a plane  which I was super bummed over

Thankfully, she bought me an AG-7, which is my non work EDC pen. At work I use a Parker Jotter with a Fisher cartridge

Why do astronauts use pencil instead of pen in space.

Do any Fisher space Pens have a rubber grip?
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.
