Seiko Monster
on: April 11, 2016, 11:19:34 AM
Well had been wearing a Gshock that meant alot to me as it was a gift from my Wife and Daughter. Battery ran out so decided to get a smarted watch in the mean time.
So picked up a Seiko Black Monster. Sadly I was informed the Gshock was broken (I don't believe them still hoping to get it fixed) so have worn the monster since.

Just wondering is anyone else wears a Seiko Monster?
From what I have found they are quite popular amongst the EDC Crowd

I have Seiko Monsters in orange and black, but my everyday watch is a G-Shock Riseman.  The Monsters are better at being jewelry, but the G-Shock is better - by far IMO - at keeping time.  My G-Shock has the atomic and solar features, so it never needs any attention and the time it shows is always perfect.  The Monsters have to be worn everyday to stay alive, and being mechanical will inevitable run a least a little bit too fast or slow.

So for pure utility, the G-Shock is the king of kings.  For looks, for feeling good and for man-jewelry, the Monsters rock.

Orange monster here.   It's one of my favorites,  and if it weren't for the added features of my smart watch I'd probably still be wearing it as my go to EDC watch. It's probably gotten more wrisk time than any of my other watches.

I have come close to pulling the trigger on one of these at least six times.

Something else always comes up.
