Splinters in your Pot Noodles would be bad... :ahhh
Thinking of them as splinters is negative thinking, think of them as added fiber and roughage :D

Actually having some nutritional value to a pot noodle might be a good idea.  :D

I believe he started it and then the other day I noticed Gareth had lost his UK and I thought why not as Neil was still available as a screen name, keep life simple.

I only ever used the "UK" part as I couldn't get plain old Gareth over on SOSAK.  I then used it here as I knew there was a little crossover of people.  After we brought in the little national flags it seemed a bit redundant.

I made this coffee scoop to test out the Frosts #162 spoon knife I just got.

So that's how you carve spoons!

I'm converting a couple of Frosts #180 Farrier knives into Crooked Knives. I think I prefer these over the full-curve Frosts #162...they are a lot less scary to use :ahhh

Re: Camping utensils

Now if you could only add a (a) combination can/bottle opener, plus a (b) hole to fit a Vic corkscrew at the back of a metal spork, you'd have all eating bases covered. Make that end (c) pokey and add a (d) detent for wire stripping (::)) and carry a folder along and you're ready to go... Hey, perhaps you could also make it so that you can attach one of those CC folding razors in the handle and ditch the folder...

I'll get my coat. :D

How long do these take you?

If I had to guess it was about 2-3 hours total...I don't work on it in one go.

That would take me a week solid and would still look crap.  I just don't have the eye for those kind of things.

I think the challenge would be to use only your favorite SAK or Multi to carve a spoon with  :pok:
