It wasn't unknown! Unless random people sneak into my house to eat food... then it must've been someone from my family! :D

That or a hobo...

When I whipped this out at the UK meet-up to stir my coffee, I was surprised it didn't generate more interest (not).

Quality? - No not really.
I used to come here a lot.

Ricardo branded so made for Richartz.  I doubt in these times that the blades are German though.  :-\

so what kind of utensils you use and suggest?

I love that "Ethically made in Taiwan" on there. Anyway, I use Lexan utensils. I hate Sporks. They try to accomplish what a fork and spoon can do, but IMO don't do either well at all. If I had the extra $ I'd go Titanium, but Lexan's been fine for me. Lightweight, cheap, and hold up well.

Just received a new spork....the Brunton My-Ti Spork.

Be aware that this is the new 2008 model with cap-lifter. There are older versions still being sold without that feature.

I had to take the photos over because Neil would have seen something cheeky in the reflections ::) :P

I have used these a lot over the years;

Boker SnacPac. I like having the salt and pepper
compartments with it all. Easy to clean, very
compact and light.

I also have a couple of ones like Sporks
but they come with a knife too (I'll take pics).

I have a set very similar to that WD, don't think mine is a Boker though! Very handy set though, just wish the spoon was bigger!
