+B isn't the only one who came out w/new alox this week.
SMS has just announced 3 new colors: Olive, Beige, & Rose in Pioneer & Farmer models.

Blimey, I never thought "beige" could look so good.
These are really tempting...

I think in the next few months only a few die hard Alox collectors will still be picking them up.
With so many still to come it's going to be a very expensive year for some of us.

I think I agree. It's getting to be too much. Going to stop unless I see one that has to really catch my eye. I just don't think long term all these new color releases will hold the higher collector value people are paying. I may be wrong though.

I'll catch all these new ones later - right now focusing on older stuff that will always be rare and one of a kind - pretty tired of being screwed over by Victorinox

This is the same thing I experienced as a Case XX knife collector. They were coming out with new handle variations faster than I could afford to buy them. I quickly lost interest, and found when I tried to sell my collection that the value was less than purchase price. That being said, I have taken a new collecting strategy with my Victorinox collecting. I am focusing on one specific color. (hope it works!)
